 John G. Fort, M.D. is chief medical officer.
Prior to joining POZEN, Dr. Fort was Vice President, Medical Affairs
at Adolor Corporation and held positions with Pfizer Inc., including
Vice President, Medical Affairs, and was Vice President, Arthritis
and Pain at G.D. Searle & Co., Monsanto Corporation from September
1994 to December 2003. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry,
he was an Associate Professor of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson
University, Division of Rheumatology.
Dr. Fort received his M.D. from the University of Valencia Faculty of
Medicine and is board certified in internal medicine with a
subspecialty certification in rheumatology.
